Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the travlink platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. travlink reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. User Accounts & Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Booking & Cancellation Policy

When you book an experience through the Platform, you enter into an agreement with the host. Travelers may cancel bookings up to 48 hours before the scheduled experience for a full refund, unless the host's profile specifies a different policy. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to the host's individual cancellation policy. No-shows forfeit the full booking amount.

4. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. The total price includes the host's hourly rate multiplied by the duration, plus a service fee. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Refunds, when applicable, are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

5. Host Responsibilities

Hosts agree to: (a) provide accurate profile information, (b) maintain their availability calendar, (c) respond to booking requests within 24 hours, (d) arrive on time and deliver the experience as described, (e) comply with all local laws and regulations, (f) maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers agree to: (a) treat hosts with respect and courtesy, (b) arrive at the designated meeting point on time, (c) follow safety instructions provided by hosts, (d) not engage in illegal activities during experiences, (e) provide honest and fair reviews.

7. Platform Role

travlink acts as a marketplace facilitating connections between travelers and hosts. We are not a party to the agreements between travelers and hosts. While we verify host identities and provide safety measures, we do not guarantee the quality of individual experiences beyond our verification process.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of travlink or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. User-submitted content (reviews, photos) remains the property of the user but grants travlink a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute such content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, travlink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between travelers and hosts should first be reported to travlink's support team within 48 hours of the experience. Our team will investigate and facilitate resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved through our process, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration laws.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
